BBNaija: Reno Omokri blasts Nigerian youths, says they deserve President Buhari

    – Author and lawyer Reno Omokri recently slammed Nigerian youths after fans donated over N5m for BBNaija Erica within hours– Omokri said that they could not raise the same amount in five months to unseat President Buhari in the 2019 elections– According to the lawyer, Nigerians deserve the president they have

Controversial lawyer Reno Omokri is one of the people who had something to say about the GoFundMe page raised for disqualified BBNaija Lockdown housemate Erica Nlewedim.

Recall that Erica was sent packing from the BBNaija house on Sunday, September 6, after breaking Biggie’s rules and receiving her third strike.

The lawyer took to his Twitter page to air his thoughts about the money that is being raised for the housemate as he compared it to the attitude of Nigerian youths to the situation of the country.

According to Omokri, it took just five hours for some youths to raise N5 million for Erica but they couldn’t raise the same money in five months to unseat President Muhammadu Buhari in the 2019 elections.

Noting that Nigerian youths deserve the current president, the lawyer stated that they were not able to resist the increase of fuel and electricity costs.

According to him, youths are always looking for people to act on their behalf when it comes to important issues but act for themselves when it comes to irrelevancies.

    Read his statement below:

“In 5 hours, Nigerians raised $15,000 for #BBNaija’s Erica. In 5 days, the same Nigerians have not been able to raise any resistance to General Buhari’s increase of fuel and electricity costs. If you talk, some Nigerians will say come and lead the protest. Who led them to raise a record-breaking $15,000 in 5 hours? We can act spontaneously for irrelevancies, but we are looking for others to act for us on relevant things! Nigeria deserves General Buhari!”

In other news, Legit.ng earlier reported that Omokri advised men against spending money on their girlfriends.

The former presidential aide said that men who sponsor the lifestyles of their girlfriends are not smart people. He stated that they are not doing ‘charity’ but exhibiting stupidity.

He, then advised that a man should spend on a woman only when she is his wife or if she is his mother or sister. Omokri said that a man who wishes to express love to his girlfriend can do so in a letter and not with money.
