ENDSARS: FEMINIST COALITION UNDER SCRUTINY AS SOME ALLEGE MISAPPROPRIATION OF $51,000

The feminist coalition group, a team of successful women who spearheaded the implementation of the #ENDSARS protest is facing some controversial allegations from untold quarters.

The group co-founded by Damilola Odufuwa and Odunayo Eweniyi is being accused of siphoning $51,000 of the allocated funds for the #ENDSARS movement. The allegations have led to the ‘FemCo’ stir making the rounds on Twitter currently.

Considering the transparency and organization that went into the execution of the #ENDSARS protests, a laudable trait that inspired hope in many young Nigerians, before the protest finally went rogue. It is indeed a very hefty allegation to reconcile with the group based on past performance.

Also, considering how technologically exposed the two founders are, they would really have to be extremely foolhardy or probably under a spell to make such a withdrawal from such a publicly monitored account, except of course we are missing something.

Coincidentally, a few days away, Rinu Oduala had taken to Twitter to suggest that there is propaganda in place to ruin the integrity of those who were unabashedly involved in the #ENDSARS awakening starting with Pamilerin – a social media influencer, only to hear of this a few days later

As Nigerian youths sway back and forth between the legitimacy of the news, they will have a very huge decision to make, either to coalesce as a team to ensure the backbone of the #ENDSARS movement, Feminist Coalition, and the rest are protected from forces stronger than them or fall for the biggest trick in the book. That is of course if this is really a propaganda.
