    Troops rescue abducted CAPRO student in Plateau

    A student of Calvary International Ministry also known as CAPRO, Kevin Eze, who was abducted last Thursday by gunmen suspected to be herdsmen has been rescued.

    The Nation had reported the gunmen raided the school located in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State, few kilometres away from the Yakubu Gowon Airport Heipang and abducted two students.

    But one of the abductees escaped during a gun duel with security operatives while the other was taken away by the abductors.

    Eze, was rescued in the early hours of Sunday by Troops of Operation Safe Haven in Plateau State through intelligence without payment of ransom.

    A statement in Jos by the Media Officer of Operation Safe Haven, OPSH, Major Ibrahim Shittu, said: “The rescued student is hale and hearty and has been reunited with other students in the College.”
