Mental health: Why I’ll visit a therapist after BBNaija – Liquorose

Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eye housemate, Liquorose, has revealed that she will visit a therapist after the show because of her mental health.

Liquorose made this known during her Diary Session on Friday, day 27 of the show, when Big Brother asked her to share her thoughts on the topic of mental health, which the housemates have been tasked with.

Sharing her personal experience, she said, “My case was different because I was depressed and I have two stages of mental health issues.

“I’ve kept it to myself for a while. I actually talked about one with friends and all of that and I’ve been able to get myself out of it.

“For the other one, I’m still in the process of trying to get out. I’m sure that after the show, I think I’ll be ready to see a therapist to talk with but I’m having it fine because, during the house, I have been able to talk to few people that ‘hey, I’m going through this or that.’ So I feel that more attention should be paid to mental health.”
