He gave the warning while addressing a public conference before the meeting of the National Executive Committee at the party secretariat. According to him, the apex court was clear about its verdict on party supremacy, stressing that party matters are internal affairs of political platforms. The LP chair also threw shade at the party’s presidential candidate in the 2023 election, Peter Obi and Governor Alex Otti, saying they betrayed the party. He said, “Tell them that there is no vacancy in our party. In the Labour Party, we don’t betray our candidates even though some betray us after giving them tickets. “We also want to urge those who have been deceived by the last week’s misleading interpretation of the Supreme Court judgment to disregard the speculation. I remain the National Chairman of the Labour Party. “Again, the Labour Party Constitution does not recognise the setting up of a caretaker committee for party affairs.” More details later… April 7, 2025 Ariya Xpress FacebookInstagramTwitterYoutube RELATED ARTICLES Lifestyle Dismissed soldier Soja Boi backs pay claims with receipts, dares Army to release payroll News Police raid A’Ibom criminal hideout disguised as church, arrest seven News ADC FCT chapter backs David Mark’s leadership News Lagos announces traffic diversions for Wednesday, Thursday project inauguration News Buhari’s son declares interest in Reps seat Latest Posts Lifestyle Dismissed soldier Soja Boi backs pay claims with receipts, dares Army to release payroll News Police raid A’Ibom criminal hideout disguised as church, arrest seven News ADC FCT chapter backs David Mark’s leadership Celeb News ’I stood my ground and fought back’: DJ Tunez shares details after fist fight with Burna Boy Don't Miss News ’Political intimidation,‘ Malami slams EFCC over armed raid on residence’ News 2027: INEC unveils revised guidelines for political parties News Two drown in Kwara quarry lake Celeb News Davido says he’s now focusing on African music and culture after enjoying global success News Why NAPTIP didn’t detect ‘rape festival’ in Delta earlier — Agency Stay in touchTo be updated with all the latest news, offers and special announcements.Sign up
