Some policemen allegedly caught with a bribe of N500,000 in Anambra State have been arrested.

The Police Public Police Relations Officer in the state, Ikenga Tochukwu, who confirmed the development, said the Commissioner of Police, Monday Kuryas, expressed zero-tolerance for extortion in the command.

The PPRO stated, “The Commissioner of Police, Monday Kuryas, has expressed total aversion to unprofessionalism and other extortionist tendencies among some police personnel in the command.
