Oniduro Mi: Tope Alabi thanks fans for their support

Iconic gospel artiste, Tope Alabi, has finally broken the silence since she has been in the news for a comment she made about the popular gospel song, Oniduro Mi.

In a viral video, Alabi was seen stating that although she was not condemning the song, she believes God is bigger than an entity to be described as a guarantor.

However, her opinion did not sit well with many people and her comment has since sparked a debate among gospel music lovers. More so, Alabi has faced backlash online over her comment.

Tope Alabi took to her verified Instagram page on Sunday to appreciate her fans for their support over the past few days.

The sonorous gospel songstress, while reciting a poem, wrote, “Appreciation to everyone: Those He saves are His delight, Christ will hold us fast; precious in His holy sight, He will hold us fast.

“He’ll not let our souls be lost; His promises shall last; bought by Him at such a cost, He will hold every one of us fast.”

Alabi continued, “I register my unreserved appreciation to you all for standing by and for me through the past week. The Lord will never leave us all in Jesus name. Thank you all and may the good God bless you all in Jesus name. Amen.”
