Gunmen on Monday reportedly killed three persons after an attack in Hukke village of Miango in Irigwe chiefdom, Bassa Local Government area of Plateau state.
During the deadly attack, three others reportedly sustained gunshot injuries.
A statement by the Secretary-General of Irigwe Development Association, (IDA), Mr Danjuma Auta, identified the deceased as: Barry Ive 42; Isaiah Gado 45; and Weyi Chohu 40.
He added those three injured include Bosco Gbere 50; Barnabas Lundi 20; and Moses Bombo 28.
But when contacted, the spokesman of Plateau Police Command, ASP, Gabriel Ubah, told The Nation: “l’m in a meeting now. l will get back to you”.
