Controversial hip-hop artiste, Habeeb Okikiola, known better as Portable, following the singer’s endorsement of Governor Gboyega Oyetola ahead of the July 18 governorship election in Osun State.
While endorsing Oyetola’s reelection bid, the singer also asked Nigerians to vote for the party’s presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, during next year’s presidential election.
In a video he posted on his Instagram page on Wednesday, Portable urged his fans in Osun to vote for the governor, who was sitting beside him.
Speaking in Yoruba, Portable said, “4+4, Akoi Oyetola, my father is here.”
He also added, “Nigerians you all should agree for Tinubu, so everything can go well”.
The singer was also seen showing off money allegedly given to him after visiting the governor.
But reacting to the post on Wednesday, Nigerians on the microblogging site, Twitter, alleged that the governor was giving out taxpayers’ money to in his “desperate bid” to be reelected.
