    In the 12 local government areas declared so far in Lagos State, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu has won seven while his counterpart, Peter Obi of the Labour Party has won five.

    Despite losing his local government, Ikeja to Obi, things still seem to be going his way in the state.

    The results for the local government areas announced include — Lagos Mainland, Ikorodu, Epe, Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos Island, Badagry, Ikeja, Kosofe, Eti-Osa, Somolu, Amuwo-Odofin and Agege. There are 20 local government areas in the state.

    Aside from Ikeja, where Mr Obi recorded a big upset, the LP candidate also won in Kosofe and Somolu Local Governments, widely seen as strongholds of the APC.
