I miss you every single day Ada Ameh, says Empress Njamah

One year after the sad passing of veteran actress, Ada Ameh, her colleague and closest ally, Empress Njamah has recalled some of their last moments together.
Ameh, who collapsed and died on July 17, 2022 at age 48 in Warri, Delta State, was popular for her role as Emu Johnson in the popular TV sitcom, The Johnsons.

On Friday, August 19, 2022, colleagues, friends, family members, associates, and well-wishers thronged the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere to pay their last respect to the late actress.

With most of her colleagues appearing teary-eyed, it was indeed a celebration of the life, times, and legacy of Ameh who made an indelible mark in the motion picture industry.

The thespian was laid to rest on Friday, August 26, 2022, exactly 40 days after her demise.

The process leading to Ameh’s interment in Ogobia, Otukpo Local Government Area of Benue State, was characterized by wailing, pain, and sorrow in her hometown.

n the occasion Ameh’s one year posthumous anniversary, Njamah paid tribute to her dearest friend, expressing how much she misses her and wished she stayed alive a bit more longer.

She shared a video compilation of several memories captured with Ameh which had Spyro’s “Who’s Your Guy” featuring Tiwa Savage playing as the background song.

Captioning it, Njamah wrote: “ITS A YEAR ALREADY. Those special memories of you will always bring a smile. If only I could have you back for just a little while then we could sit and talk again just like we used to do.

“You always meant so very much and always will do too. The fact that you’re no longer here will always cause me pain but you’re forever in my heart UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN.

“Just a year and your forgotten, such is life…I MISS YOU EVERY SINGLE DAY ADA AMEH.”

In the next post, Njamah also shared a video where her buddy, Ameh was getting a makeover for what was to be her last birthday on earth.

While the makeup was being done, Njamah kept hyping her friend, teasing her about being ‘too proud’ and they were seen dancing after Ameh’s face beat was completed.

To caption the clip, the film star wrote: “ADA THIS WAS THE LAST TIME I SAW YOU. I came to stay with you for some days cause you were down again.

“We had an amazing time together. You ate well, we laughed and cried together.

“If only you had told me you would leave me in few hours. I would have stayed back, but God knows best…FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS.”
