Why I want to suspend music for education – Ghanaian singer Black Sherif

Popular Ghanaian singer and rapper, Mohammed Ismail Sherif, popularly known as Black Sherif, has decided to go back to school to acquire more knowledge.
The 21-year-old said that education is the reason he wants to get music out of the way after releasing his sophomore album.

Black said he wants to go back to school to learn clothing.

The ‘Kwaku the Traveller’ crooner wrote on his X (formerly Twitter) handle: “I need to get this album out and go back to school to learn how to make clothes.”

Black Sherif gained popularity in 2021 with his song ‘First Sermon,’ which he released that May.

The song’s sequel, ‘Second Sermon,’ was released in July and received a remix with Grammy-winning Nigerian singer, Burna Boy.
